NaPoWriMo #11: Divergent

Her toes trace pattern in the waves
As moonbeams ripple ‘cross the pool
The diver gent takes diver girl
By her free hand, dripping and cool

Her lithe form bends as her free hand
Grasps bottle full of pinot noir;
Chilled nicely at the shallow end,
Bought half price at the liquor store

They clink their glasses and they kiss
The full moon rises overhead
Cancun’s priced much too high this year
Racine will have to do instead

The poem today is about wine and love.
