A Toast To Love and Health

I like this poem for its triumphant nature, which seems to be in the spirit of the original poem. It sounds like the sort of thing that’s toasted at a crowded tavern, full of laughing patrons.

Yr Enaid Sipsiwn

Fill my cup – that’s not enough!
I shall drink to health and love!
Come over dear and kiss my cheek,
For this toast I’ve waited weeks!
Dionysus God of wine,
Sweetest nectar so divine
Tip my cup to those above,
Drink to future’s health and love!
