Another sports article non sequitur — this time regarding bears and tigers

David Fleming of ESPN.com has put up an article on Page 2, and it seems to be challenging Gregg Easterbrook’s TMQ article for best non sequitur in a sports related article this week.   This one has to do with bears and tigers.  “How can that be?” you say.  “One plays in the NFL and the other in the MLB!  Surely he cannot make that comparison!”  Au contraire, mes amis … he’s talking about actual bears and tigers:

Who would win a fight: A bear or a tiger?

I suppose this is very similar to the Bear vs. Shark thing that the internet and Adult Swim cartoons seem to be obsessed with so much these day’s (and not to mention Homestar Runner’s Bear Holding A Shark cardboard cutout), but the Bear Vs. Tiger is a much more plausible debate.

So who do you think would win in the battle of most ferocious land animals?  Bear?  Or tiger?
