The Ballad of Jack And Pepper: A Triolet

Baby, let me wax your cheese
Ricotta know each other better.
You gouda know I’m on my knees ~
Baby, let me wax your cheese.
Don’t brie coy, you flirty tease,
Pouring red wax on that cheddar,
Baby, let me wax your cheese
Ricotta know each other better.

(Written for a silly book editor who got giggly when one chapter for a cheese book was entitled, “Waxing Your Cheese.” Apologies for the terrible puns.)

  1. Pure Ambrosia (or Food of the Gods, as it is better known). Just letting you know I’ve nominated you for the Sunshine Award. Hey, you were kind about my Scrabble post when no-one else was, what can I say?
